Creating a New Customer

You can create a new customer in two ways:

  1. Manually from the Customers page

  2. Using the Quick Create button

1. Creating a Customer from the Customers Page

  1. Navigate to the Customers Section

    • Click on CRM in the left-hand menu.

    • Select Customers to open the customer list.

  2. Click "New Customer"

    • Click the + New Customer button to open the creation form.

  3. Fill in Customer Details

    • Enter the Company Name (mandatory).

    • Add optional details like Phone, Website, Address, City, State, and Country.

    • Choose a Currency and Default Language if needed.

  4. Save the Customer

    • Click Save to finalize the creation.

    • You can also choose Save and create contact to immediately add a contact person for this customer.

2. Creating a Customer via Quick Create

  1. Click the Quick Create Button

    • The Quick Create (+) button is located next to the search bar at the top.

    • Click it and select Customer from the dropdown menu.

  2. Fill in Customer Details

    • The same New Customer form appears, where you can input company details.

  3. Save the Customer

    • Click Save to finalize the creation.

3. Converting a Lead to a Customer

Instead of creating a customer from scratch, you can also convert an existing Lead into a Customer:

  1. Go to CRM > Leads and select a lead.

  2. Click View to open the lead profile.

  3. Click Convert to Customer and complete the required fields.

  4. Click Save to finalize the conversion. The lead will now appear under Customers instead of Leads.

Summary

  • You can create a new customer manually or using Quick Create.

  • The Quick Create button lets you add a customer without navigating to the Customers page.

  • Existing leads can be converted into customers instead of manually creating new ones.
