Accessing Deals in Setup
To access the Deals settings:
Navigate to Setup from the left-side menu.
Click Deals to expand its dropdown menu, which includes:
Sources
Pipelines
Stages
Deals Settings
Each section plays a role in defining how deals are categorized, tracked, and captured in the system.
Overview of Setup > Leads Options
When clicking Setup > Deals, an expanding menu appears with the following options:
Sources β Used to define where deals originate (e.g., "Referral," "Website," "Advertisement").
Pipelines β Represents the sales process, containing different stages that deals move through.
Stages β The specific phases of a pipeline (e.g., "Initial Contact," "Negotiation," "Closed Won").
Deal Settings β Configure default values for fields when a new deal is created.
