# Understanding the Chart Layout in Segments

This article explains the Chart layout in the Segments feature of ClearCRM, which provides a visual representation of segment data.

## Chart Layout Overview

The **Chart** view replaces the standard tabular list with graphical statistics. It is useful for analyzing segment distribution and trends.

## Types of Charts Available

-   **Pie Chart** – Displays segment distribution as proportional slices, making it easy to compare different segments at a glance.
    
-   **Column Chart** – Uses vertical bars to represent segment size, useful for comparing segment growth over time.
    

## Switching to Chart View

To access the **Chart** layout:

1.  Navigate to **Marketing > Segments**.
    
2.  Click on the **Chart** button above the segment table.
    
3.  The table will be replaced by graphical statistics.
    

## Benefits of Chart View

-   **Quick Insights** – Easily compare segment sizes and trends.
    
-   **Data Visualization** – Understand segment distribution without analyzing raw numbers.
