# Adding a New Stage in ClearCRM

This article explains how to add a New Stage in Marketing Module in ClearCRM.

Creating a new stage in ClearCRM allows users to customize the pipeline to fit their specific processes.

## **How to Add a New Stage**

1.  **Open the New Stage Form**
    
    -   In the **Stages Pipeline Dashboard**, click **Add New Stage**.
        
    -   A pop-up window will appear.
        
2.  **Fill in the Stage Details**
    
    -   **Name** (_Required_) – Enter a name for the stage.
        
    -   **Weight** – Assign a numerical value to indicate the stage’s priority or position.
        
    -   **Color** – Select a color for visual differentiation.
        
    -   **Category** – Choose a category from the dropdown menu.
        
    -   **Description** – Provide additional details about the stage.
        
3.  **Save the Stage**
    
    -   Click **Save** to add the stage to the pipeline.
        

With customized stages, users can create structured workflows to track progress effectively.
