What is the Deals Kanban View?
The Deals Kanban view helps you visually manage deals across different stages of your sales process — like “Contact Made,” “Qualified to Buy,” or “Proposal Made.” Instead of working through lists, you can quickly spot what’s in progress, what’s stuck, and what’s ready to close.
This visual layout is perfect for sales teams that want a fast, intuitive way to track progress and take action.
Navigating to Deals
Go to the CRM from the left-hand menu.
Click on Deals to open the Kanban view.
Each column represents a sales stage, and each card is a deal in that stage.
Understanding Deal Cards
Each card in the Kanban view displays:
Deal Name & Value
Status (e.g., Open)
Stage (e.g., Qualified to Buy)
Pipeline (e.g., Sales)
Source (e.g., Web, Google Organic)
Related To (e.g., Lead, Customer, Customer)
At the bottom of each card:
Assignees are shown on the left.
Tasks, Attachments, and Comments appear on the right.
Creating a New Deal
Click the + New Deal button at the top of the Deals page.
Or, click the + New Deal inside a specific column to create a deal directly in that stage.
Moving Deals Across Stages
Simply drag and drop any deal card to another column to update its stage.
This updates the stage instantly and reflects your real-time sales progress — no extra clicks required.
Sorting, Filtering & Searching
To the top-right of the Kanban board:
Use Sort By to order deals by name, value, or date.
Use the Pipeline dropdown (e.g., Sales) to filter by pipeline.
Use the Search Deals bar to find deals by name.
Note: This is not the same as the global search bar at the very top of the app — this search is scoped just to your Deals.
Switching to List View
If you prefer a spreadsheet-style layout:
Click the second icon next to the blue “+ New Deal” button to switch to List View.
List View is ideal for bulk editing, scanning more data at once, or exporting.
Bonus: Check Your Deal Summary
Click the first icon next to “+ New Deal” to view a quick summary of total deals and pipeline value at a glance.
