The Projects section in ClearCRM helps you manage client work from kickoff to delivery—all in one place. You can create new projects, assign team members, and keep everything on track with built-in tools.
Step 1: Open the Projects List
From the left-hand navigation, go to Projects > Projects List.
You’ll see a full table of all your ongoing and past projects, with columns like:
Project Name
Customer
Tags
Start Date / Deadline
Assigned Team Members
Current Status
Step 2: Filter and View Options
Use the status filter tabs at the top to view only Active, On Hold, Completed, or other categories.
Switch to the Gantt view if you prefer a visual timeline of your projects and their phases.
Step 3: Create a New Project
Click the New Project button to get started.
Fill in the key details:
Project Name
Linked Customer – Keeps the project connected to your CRM data
Billing Type – Choose how the project is billed
Start and Deadline Dates
Team Members – Assign your internal collaborators
Tags – Use for easier filtering and organization
Once you hit Save, your project is ready.
Step 4: Manage the Project Workspace
Click on any Project Name in the table to open its detailed view.
Each project includes several tabs to help manage the work:
Tasks (viewable in Kanban or table format)
Files
Milestones
Timesheets
Discussions
Linked Items like proposals, estimates, invoices, and more
You can also add new tasks directly from the project page and track everything in context—without jumping between tools.
