The Gantt chart in ClearCRM helps you map out tasks, track progress, and make real-time adjustments to your project timeline. Whether you’re working solo or managing a team, it gives you a visual roadmap of everything happening in your project.

🧭 Where to Find It

Go to any project and open the Gantt tab from the top navigation bar.

📅 Adjust Your Timeline View

At the top right of the chart, you'll see the Timeline View filter. You can adjust how your project is displayed:

  • Days View – Ideal for short-term planning

  • Weeks View – For agile teams

  • Months View – Best for quarterly or long-term projects

  • Years View – For multi-year strategies

🧱 Group Tasks Visually

Use the middle filter to group your tasks by:

  • Milestones – See phases like Planning & Discovery, Development, Design, etc.

  • Members – Visualize who’s working on what

  • Status – Sort tasks into Not Started, In Progress, Testing, Awaiting Feedback, and Complete

💡 Tasks not linked to any milestone will appear in the Uncategorized section — so you don’t lose track of anything.

🎯 Filter by Task Status

Want to focus on specific tasks only? Use the left-side filter to isolate tasks by their current status.

Example: Select In Progress to only display tasks that are actively being worked on.

🖱 Interact with the Gantt Chart

The chart isn’t static — it’s fully interactive:

  • Hover over a task to preview its name, duration, and dates

  • Drag & slide to shift timelines or extend/compress task durations

  • Click on any task to open its details panel — where you can edit, reassign, tag, add reminders, and more

🔄 Why It Matters

The Gantt chart brings your project to life as a living timeline. You don’t need separate tools to plan, track, and execute — it’s all in one place and always up to date.
