Steps to Configure SMS

  1. Access the Settings Menu:

    • Navigate to the Setup section in your application's main dashboard.

    • From there, select Settings.

  2. Locate the SMS Section:

    • Scroll down the Settings page until you find the SMS option.

    • Click on it to open the SMS configuration panel.

  3. Select and Set Up Your Gateway:

    • Choose your preferred SMS gateway from the list (e.g., Twilio, or another provider).

    • Enter your account information, including the required access token for authentication.

    • This token ensures secure connection to the gateway for sending/receiving messages.

  4. Customize Feeds and Options:

    • Configure which feeds or data sources you want to merge with SMS notifications.

    • Adjust other preferences, such as message templates or delivery options, as needed.

  5. Save and Activate:

    • Review your settings and click Save.

    • Once saved, your SMS integration is active—test it by sending a sample message to verify functionality.

Tips

  • If using a third-party gateway like Twilio, ensure you have a valid account and token ready. For alternatives, refer to providers like Twilio for API details.

  • Always test in a safe environment to avoid unintended messages.
