ClearCRM now allows you to create a custom subdomain for your account at registration, giving you a personalized login URL for your team and customers.

With subdomains, each account can use a unique address like yourcompany.clearcrm.com instead of the default app.clearcrm.com.

What is a Subdomain in ClearCRM?

A subdomain replaces the “app” part of the ClearCRM URL. For example:

  • Default login: app.clearcrm.com

  • With subdomain: yourcompany.clearcrm.com

When enabled, you and your customers can log in directly through your subdomain. Other ClearCRM users will not be able to access their accounts from your subdomain login page.

Setting Up Your Subdomain

Currently, the subdomain feature is available only during new account registration.

On the registration form, you’ll see a field labeled Your Subdomain.

  • Enter your desired subdomain (for example, acmeacme.clearcrm.com).

  • The Subdomain ID must follow these rules:

    • Allowed characters: letters, numbers, underscores, and dashes

    • Must be unique — if the name is already taken, you’ll see a red indicator; if it’s available, the indicator turns green.

    • Certain IDs are blocked or reserved by ClearCRM.

Once you select an available subdomain, complete your registration to activate it.

Logging in with Subdomains

After registration:

  • You and your team can log in from your personalized subdomain (e.g., yourcompany.clearcrm.com).

  • You can also log in via app.clearcrm.com, but you’ll be automatically redirected to your subdomain after signing in.

  • You can share your subdomain login URL (yourcompany.clearcrm.com) with your customers, allowing them to log in directly to their accounts.

  • Each subdomain is unique to a company—other organizations cannot log in from your subdomain’s login page.

Benefits of Using a Subdomain

  • Professional, branded login page for your company

  • Easier access for team members and customers

  • Clear separation between company accounts
