How to Access the Task Pop-Up

To view a task’s detailed pop-up:

  • Go to Projects > Tasks from the main navigation menu.

  • Click on any task’s title from the table.

This opens the task in a pop-up window with full task information and management options.


Layout of the Task Pop-Up

The window is divided into two primary sections:

Left Section – Task Content

Here you’ll find:

  • Task Title and Status Badge (e.g., “Not Started”)

  • Mark as Complete Button – Use this to mark the task as finished.

  • Created at Date – Timestamp of when the task was made.

  • Related Project or Milestone – Shows any associations with a project or milestone.

  • Start Timer – For tracking how long you work on the task.

  • Timesheets Toggle Button – Expands or collapses logged time entries.

  • Description – Add or edit a description for the task.

  • Checklist Items – Create a to-do list specific to the task.

  • Comments Section – Collaborate with your team on task specifics.


Right Section – Task Info & Actions

This side panel provides key metadata and control options:

Task Info Block

  • Status, Start Date, Due Date

  • Priority & Hourly Rate

  • Billable Status & Amount

  • Logged Time – Personal and total.

  • Tags – Add searchable labels.

Additional Features:

  • Reminders – Set custom reminders for the task.

  • Assignees – Assign the task to team members.

  • Followers – Add users who want to stay updated.

  • File Upload – Drag and drop attachments related to the task.

  • Three-Dots Menu (⋯) – Includes Edit, Copy, and Delete actions.
