What Is the Kanban View?

The Kanban view in ClearCRM is a visual task management layout where tasks are displayed as cards sorted into vertical columns (called "tickets") based on their status. It's an intuitive way to track task progress through various stages of a project at a glance.

Default Columns (Tickets)

By default, the Kanban layout displays tasks grouped by these statuses:

  • Not Started

  • In Progress

  • Testing

  • Awaiting Feedback

  • Complete

Each column shows how many tasks it contains.

Kanban Cards

Each task is represented as a card that includes:

  • Task Title

  • Related To (e.g., associated Project or Lead)

  • Status Label

  • Priority Tag

  • Due Date

  • Assignee Icon

  • Checklist Progress, Comments, and Attachments Count

Clicking a name of the card opens the Task Details pop-up, where users can view or update task information.

Drag and Drop Functionality

You can easily drag a card from one column to another to update its status instantly β€” a quick way to reflect workflow changes without opening the full task view.

Why Use the Kanban View?

The Kanban view provides a real-time snapshot of your team's workload. It helps:

  • Quickly identify bottlenecks

  • Visualize task distribution and progress

  • Simplify status updates

  • Encourage collaborative project tracking
